Are Mz Gemini & Draco Good?

Ok so! I'm buying birthday presents for two friends of mine who smoke hookah. One is the friend who actually introduced me to hookah and helped me pick out my first hookah (the fake QT Lila, who while she was fake was actually a good little hookah and she is dearly missed). Now, while I was waiting for my real QT to come in the mail I asked if I could borrow her hookah; turns out what I borrowed were her 3 mini pumpkins. I felt very very bad for her, and now know why pumpkins are so very terrible. Her birthday has come and I got the idea to get a hookah for her. Now I know she likes traditional, so MYA is out of the picture & I would get her a KM except hell if I am spending 100+ on her. So I was browsing around the sites and found some MZs on Social Smoke for pretty cheap. Now I know that MZs are pretty good. But there isn't a ton about them here on the forum, esspecially about the different models.
For Mackenzie I'm thinking about getting her the Draco [url="http://www.socialsmoke.com/item--Draco-Magdy-Zidan-1-Hose-Hookah--EGYPTIANHOOKAHDR01.html"]http://www.socialsmoke.com/item--Draco-Magdy-Zidan-1-Hose-Hookah--EGYPTIANHOOKAHDR01.html[/url] . I know she wants a large hookah that is traditional looking and green. This fits the bill. But is it a good model?

Now the second friend enjoys hookah, but knows nothing about it. And I have not a clue what to get her, so I was thinking the Gemini ( [url="http://www.socialsmoke.com/item--Gemini-Magdy-Zidan-1-Hose-Hookah--EGYPTIANHOOKAHGM01.html"]http://www.socialsmoke.com/item--Gemini-Magdy-Zidan-1-Hose-Hookah--EGYPTIANHOOKAHGM01.html[/url] ) since it is smaller and easier to break down and clean and what not. I'll get the traveling bag if you guys think it is good, and a half box of 3 kings to start her off. I'll also get her a wider variety of shisha in later paychecks so I can show her the way lol. Also, she actually is in the Army and is currently stationed in Germany but could be transferred to Afghanistan next year. So her hookah needs to be small and easily stored away in a small "dorm room"(that's how she describes it) or whatever she would be living in in Afghanistan.

So are these good hookahs and if not, what are? My budget is about 120/130 for two egyptians and a box of coals. That includes shipping.

I have been in a similar situation in buying hookahs for some of my close friends and its definitely an exciting yet fairly expensive endeavor. Now your first friend seems to know her way (at least somewhat) around the world of hookah. For her I would recommend the: [url="http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-6182-khalil-mamoon-hookah-cheops-1-hose-hookah.html"]KM Cheops[/url] or [url="http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-6195-khalil-mamoon-hookah-Khufu-1-hose-hookah.html"]KM Khufu[/url], both VERY beautiful pipes. I know that you said your budget was $120-$130 and a $100 KM seems a little excessive but she DID introduce you to the world of hookah and look where that has led you! If your friend is looking for something green and more traditional you cant get more traditional a than Khalil Mamoon as far as hookahs go. Also just to be honest that MZ looks absolutely hideous and not at all traditional to me but thats just my .02 If you think it looks good then what I think doesn't matter!

Now on to your second friend... The answer is screamingly obvious here. You have just ordered a $100 hookah from Hookah-shisha so that means, [url="http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-187-mini-mya-hookah.html"]Free Mini Mya Acrylic![/url] ! its the perfect hookah for a new smoker and also can with stand A LOT of wear and tear! I have smoked out of several of these little pipes and they hit like champions! They are also pretty damn near indestructible. I have dropped mine for a shelf fully assembled, packed a bowl and smoked out of it with no change in overall quality. They also fit the bill of the on-the-go hookah smoker which it sounds like your second friend may be. Very easy to clean and pack up I really cant think of a better choice unless you wanted to splurge and get her a Bambino or QT. Basically Mya is my choice for ease of use, ease of cleaning, durability and travel ability.

This leads us to the price issue, The new box of larger 3K's from H-S is $19.95 So you are totaling around 135-140 AFTER tax. Now comes the forum discount! I have found that Hookahpro's discount is actually larger than HF's so I use it. After all is said and done you should be right within your budget!

You are a truly great friend it sounds like and keep spreading the hookah love!!

I can't use the forum discount on HS if I get the free mini mya acyrlic, trust me I've tried. So shipping will be about 20 or 25, that means 160 and above totall. Anyways I've showed her the Draco already and she loved how it looked. If it's a bad pipe I'll get something else, but I really want to know from others if they are good pipes.

I have the Gemini, I rarely smoke from it, but it is a good solid pipe, it smokes as well as my KM, it is just smaller, and definitely not as heavy. It is a very durable pipe tho, I have balance my weight on top of the stem to get it into the vase...

I like my MZ's, not as good as KM's but still in my top 3.
