Storing Shisha In Tupperware

Recommended Posts

So i bought a 250g tub of AF today ($95... fml) and it came in a plastic tub. Can i store the tobacco in that tub directly (e.g. not in the packet, just dump the shisha straight in the tub i got it in) or should i store it in something else?

The AF containers work fine so long as you're sitting them relatively stable. Because the lids don't have a deep grip though, it's fairly easy to for the lid to accidentally be tipped off if you had it stored where it's not just sitting there like a shelf, etc. So it kinda depends on you and where you store your stash. If you keep it stacked in a cupboard or something like that you're fine, but I'd change it to a spill proof container if you're keeping your stash in a duffel bag or something that's likely to have it jostling around.

I dump mine in the tub also. Just make sure you get all the juices, I cut the bag open and scrape the juices off with my finger. But I have had some tip over and the juices leak out. I still put them in because its a pretty good container.

You can use the tub, i do have one little tip though, store half of it in a seperate container and use up one of the two batches first without opening the other. I find every next bowl i smoke from the same package a little less flavourful from being exposed to air and moisture every time you open it.

Big thanks to Venger, got some AF in the mail from him today! Gonna be doing that from now on, wayyyy cheaper (3 week delivery time isn't perfect, but hey, beggars can't be choosers)
