CH Coconut Coals

You can get them from www.hookahjohn.com. They're the only quick light coals I've ever used, but I have noticed they burn faster and don't have as much heat as their regular coals. Cons aside, they burst into fire usually a few seconds after being in contact with a direct flame.

+1 for these. i use them more than my cocos because of convenience, they impart no taste, and they burn much longer and ash less than most QLs. hands down the best QLs i've ever used, and a really good price.

Never had CH hookah quicklights but i hear good things. Three kings are by far the best ql i've had, they last the longest, give off the least metalic aftertaste (though there is some) and ash less than others. Many brands of quicklights are just near unsmokable once you are used to coconut coals in my opinion, 3k is still a decent alternative for outside smoking.

tom's inequality value line is correct! although i will say i can find 3 kings in like every liquor store in my area so readibility is a plus.

I would also recommend 3 Kings. They don't take forever to light, they last about an hour, the coal stays together, and they don't give off much of a taste. I have tried a lot of quicklight coals and these are by far my favorite

3 kings are the best followed by ch coals. 3 kings you can light off a match, they do spark a bit but little to no smoke and the last a good 35-45 mins. CH take forever to lite and smoke like a MF. So unless you have a torch lighter like cigar smokers use it will take forever to get them lit. Also don't light theme indoors unless you want your house to smell like a campfire for a week or more.

I've used Golden, Three Kings, and CH Hookah. CH Hookah took a good 5-10 minutes to light with a lighter, and smelled like straight ass. Three Kings sometimes imparts a little bit of wooden taste for me. Golden Coals have never been a problem for me provided you get the 40mm. I'd recommend them.

Of those I have tried, Akhla 44 mm are perhaps the best.

If these are the ones I'm thinking of, DO NOT light indoors, looks like a lit sparkler once it gets going and produces a ridiculous amount of smoke.

If odors are not a concern, definitely CH coco quick lights. Otherwise, Golden QL's followed by three kings (they just break too easily causing carpet burns)

edit: should add that CH QL's are more difficult to light than others. Best to toss them in an open fire or coil burner. If you must use lighter, you gotta hold it their even when it catches the fires. It may lose its fire, mostly when lighting outdoors when its windy. Edited by Hookah_510

I throw my ch QL on the burning in the kitchen. As I said before this is a fine method if you don't mind the smell of campfire in your house.I like that smell so for me its cool.

OH-O-O yeah. Those things light quickly, but they go crazy when they do. Light them by a window. I picked up two rolls last night because the local bakery closed at 5PM and I was having a session last night.
