Possible hookah invention

So I was thinking, a dangerous pursit for me, to be sure.

I love ice in the base, but am always sad when it goes away.  Has
anyone ever seen any sort of insulating sleeve, along the lines of a
beer coozie, for a hookah base? 

If not, I might undertake making one of these... I need a weekend project.

not a bad idea.  ice never stays frozen long enough, then melts and mess up your water level.  good luck i am intrested to see how it turns out

I'd see if you could find sheets of neoprene and stitch one around a standard vase, then add a zipper.
Problem is there are so many different style bases, you'd either have a limited supple of very basic designs, or a unweildy selection of models to try to fit too many dfferent styles...

well... Id do it just to fit my base, not really for commercial development.... one possible way around that would some sort of compressible material, such as foam, that would form-fit any base.

to make it fit all hookahs, u  could just make a small, medium, and large size, that would be big enough to fit around any hookah of that general size, and then at the top seal off with a draw string, or if u wanted to make it higher quality, put wire into the marteriel u are planning on using, so it stands firm, but can be velcored shut for example, i hope u understand wat im saying, becuase its impossible to draw, so id havae to make it to explain

You should just get a small cooler and convert that into your hookah base
