Help! Saftey Question?

Recommended Posts

Alright so I broke my vase last week while washing it. I'm not really sure HOW I managed it but I did. It sort of just..snapped? Anyway, I ordered a replacement vase and it should be here in about a week but I had plans to smoke with my friend Ashley tonight so I've been looking for alternate things to use as a base. I'm not really sure how safe this is, but I've managed to set it up using a milk gallon as the vase. Obviously I won't be using this more than once or twice being as I'll have my new vase in a week, but can someone tell me if this is a good idea or not?

Lots of vases being broken these days. It might be a good idea to get a replacement vase or two to keep for such emergencies, after all they arent that expensive

I've used fancy juice bottles in exactly the same way, they work just as well as glass, and guest think they're cool as hell. (I'm probably one of the people Mustafabey is talking about, I've gone through FOUR bases since Thanksgiving)

One thing though, they're easy to tip over because the jug weighs almost nothing. I suggest filling it partially with gravel or marbles or something just to weigh it down

one quart poweraide bottles work too. I set up my QT with one once. very portable and unbreakable (plus I got to drink the poweraide)

A milk jug will work fine. The only problem i see is that it doesn't look very stable so just be careful that you don't tip it over and get a coal in your lap
