so i got some leave, and am ordering shisha back home to florida, i am just wondering the rules are with flying back to ohio with shisha and coals. anyone ever done this? or know somebody who has?

i'd avoid putting them in carry-ons. checked baggage should be bueno. just watch out for the stuff leaking/coal powder. i'd just say wrap it up good with some plastic wrap/tape.

Well then, I JUST did this from NY to CA and back. I had tons of tupperwares filled with shisha, and a box of CH qls in my checked baggage, and I had no problems. On the return my tang leaked ever so slightly, but it didnt get anywhere or get too messy. You should be good to go.


International flights, however, are probably a whole new ballgame.

its weird i flew from SD to london with a hookah, coals, and shisha and everything was fine, i also flew within europe with these items and never encountered a problem, i guess i got lucky.

As other people have said you need to put them in a checked bag and you will be fine. Just make sure you put them in a zip lock or something that wont open so the shisha doesn't get all over your stuff.
