Balthazar
Hang on to some key equipment (a hookah or two, your best hoses, windcover, tongs), give away your shisha and coal. That way, in order to start up again you'll have to buy both shisha and coal, making the step a little bigger if you already have it all at hand. That's what I would do. Good luck! delSol_si
Thanks guys, I am still going to sleep on it for another week or so, but I am starting to think I should hold on to more of it than I originally intended. I had a dream last night that I listed the KM new butterfly on eBay and someone bought it. Later, I met the guy who bought it (before I shipped it out), and he didn't really care about hookah at all, it was just a "odd" spur of the moment purchase and I could tell he wouldn't take care of it....I was nearly heart broken and didn't want to sell it anymore once I found out it was not going to be taken care of. Skoozle
If you sell your stuff, you should require an interview with the potential buyer to make sure it is going to a good home. Also insist on references.
Arcane
keep 1 hookah, but sell/give away everything except send me back all the bowls i sent you....it'd be nice to have them back, instead of having them go to another person.... i'd hold on to them for you, just in case you decide to pick up hookah again.... Capt. Morgan
Keep the irreplaceable stuff and and your favorite setup, and let the rest go would be my choice.
boludo
As much as I would like to buy the minis from you, I would say keep your stuffs (except maybe the tobacco). It is definitively a phase. It will pass. In the 7+ years I have been smoking, I have had similar feelings.

This quote sums up one of its main themes very well. Also for your situation I would suggest getting rid of just your shisha and coals, that way if you ever do get back into smoking you don't have to do it with old ass shit, and you can still keep the things that are most meaningful to you. Giant Ninja Robot
I didn't even think of getting rid of any of my stuff until yesterday and that's after a good......I can't even remember....it's been....like 9-10 months since I stopped smoking regularly. Almost a year. But I've felt the craving creep up on me lately. Not enough to actually set up, but eventually. Have some Tang I wanna get through. So obviously I voted keep your stuff. But for me it's more reminiscing than anything. And it's not like it's adding alot of clutter since it's all nicely organized.
Majid
You will probably want your stuff back in time. Maybe put it in storage somewhere?

And delsol, sit on it for a bit. I go weeks at a time without smoking sometimes. It's all cyclical.

I think I am probably going to hold on to most of it for now. I don't even really have the time to deal with getting rid of it all anyway. And yea, I agree changing something up might be good, but Tangiers is all I smoke anymore now anyway, so there is no such think as getting better. BUT, if I ever do get the desire to smoke again, I might try to pick up so Tangiers PIT, since I have heard it is like sex in your mouth, and I assume sex is good. Also, I'm hoping the superchief excites me when it comes in....maybe that will get me back smoking, dunno, we shall see.

Ralleac
I'd sell off most of the shisha and keep everything else. I haven't smoked at all this year, but it is nice to have everything around in case I want to. I'm probably going to take my QT camping with me this week.
