Sapphire
So I am a noob to Jacksonville . Had to move from Salt lake city Utah to Florida because of a Job transfer. I have to use a GPS to get me from my apartment to ANYWHERE because I have no idea what direction I am going when I get on the roads. All I see are trees ! LOL ! Anyway, I visited St Augustine for a day and it was pretty neat. That is all I have seen or done here so far, other than visit the beach. I am looking for ideas or suggestions of other neat places to check out. I know that some of you locals probbly know of a lot more than what the internet shows. I feel totaly unsettled into this new Jacksonville life. No friends, No idea how to get anywhere yet, No idea of what hobbies are cool here.... ( I thought about learning to surf? ) Anyway... Basicly I am in need of some input about my new surroundings. I am open to any suggestions or ideas of stuff to do and see. Thanks Bunches ! Sapph!
Tyler
Get on I-10 West, drive for ~2 hours [depending on how quick you drive and from what part of the city you're in] and get off on exit 199, Monroe St. in Tallahassee, head to John Knox road, then turn down Silver Slipper, go back into the plaza and you'll see a huge hookah bar called Aladdin's Sheesha Cafe. That is the best hookah bar you will ever go to (in the US at least).
