Beach Hookah?

So.. I have been trying to think of how to have a hookah at the beach.
Since I guess you can smoke in public here, why not hookah? Problem is...you can't have GLASS on the beach. So I would need something creative.
Anyone have any ideas? also... what would be the best easy cole lighting do you think?

I would love to go hang on the beach sand with my hookah, but don't want to rile up the fuzz....ya know?

for smoking around my apartment pool (no glass rule) I popped my QT onto a one quart powerade bottle. Nice tight seal with QT grommet.It was a little top heavy so I kept it in the carrying cage. 3 Kings can be lit with a match and have no taste once fully lit.

Something Mya with a plastic vase, I personally use a Mya Acrylic for my beach trips
2 3Kings QLs paired with a phunnel and some nice nakhla shisha... cant beat that xD... Just dont forget ice cold water, and tongs.

Just a side-note.... As soon as you get back home, wash / rinse your hookah with soapy water to remove any sand / saltwater rash that may have landed on it.. My stem's silver plating has started to peel off cuz I didnt wash it for about three days, and that kinda water corrodes.
Don't worry, if you take good care of your hookah it will take good care of you

Personally sessions at the beach are what I enjoy the most... with friends, meeting new people, the breeze...

I brought one of my older hookahs to South Beach in Miami and quickly made a wind cover out of the tin foil. It worked great and the funny part is everyone who saw us smoking ask what it was and if we're smoking NHT (Non-Hookah Tobacco).

We have that same rule, but they don't care if we have the hookah. Simple reasoning is that you don't throw away hookah bases. You DO throw away bottles, which is usually where they get broken. I just use my normal glass-based one.

personally as far as quicklights, i'd go with HJs quicklight CH coals. Good price and hey it's coconut not compressed saw dust with heavy metals mixed in.

Yeah, you need a cheap beach hookah that you don't really care if it gets all sandy haha. I use my sheeCool because it is plastic and i never use it at home.

Ya I have taken my hookah to miami beach a few times and have never been bothered but then again it's usually a younger crowed. I use 3k QL but i have seen someone use a mini burner and naturals before. As was stated before take a windcover or make one out of foil. The whole glass rule is more for beer bottle that drunk people leave or throw which end up breaking(I cut my toe open and its not fun).

I use a Mya Acrylic as my travel hookah. Its great for this purpose, I can bring it anywhere, and not worry about breaking it. Performs well for what it is. It does not disappoint too much.

No, that's par for South Beach. I take my mya acrylic, some af quicklights, and a cheap tin windcover when I head down there and it works well. Only real problem is having everyone passing by asking for a hit.

I am almost positive you dont have to worry about the police telling you glass is not allowed since your base is glass. When I went down to Panama City Beach about a month ago I smoked my hookah right on the beach and there was no problem at all. If the police are going to bother you it will more be about suspected NHT use in which case bring some tobacco along to show them that you arent smoking NHT.

I say get a hobo-hookah then experiment with bases until you find something that is either cool, unique, silly, trendy, edgy, or any combination of those that you feel makes the right statement about you smoking hookah on the beach. (how awesome would it be to smoke out of an empty econo-size bottle of tanning oil, lol)
