fineout
well i just read a 800 some odd post thread about ghost stories on a subaru board about ghost/paranormal stuff and wanted to have one on here. heres my favorite story from the subaru board: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMDC76D9l94&feature=player_embedded and heres mine. this thread has been absolutely amazing, just read all 16 pages. Mine isnt too special but ill share anyway. and im still not 100% positive of what happened. Back in high school i had a friend who was big into urban exploring type ****. She had heard that this abandoned asylum in Foxboro was being demolished and she had wanted to see it before it was gone. So we headed up, it was 5 of us together. now this place is fairly close to the middle of the city and is very popular with the urban exploring crowd so there is a police officer constantly patrolling it. So anyway we sneak to the perimeter and get to one building, walk around, nothing special really happens. It's just an empty building because everything of interest has been removed. So we go to the next building, i think we read it was a cafeteria or a hospital part, not quite sure. So we go in and walk around, lots of broken glass and stuff, check out the bottom floor, theres noone there nothing in any of the rooms except graffiti and a bathroom. then we go up the stairs to the second of 3 floors and at the top reach a really heavy metal door that said "keep closed and locked at all times" well naturally since its been cleared out it wasnt locked so we pushed through the door, which actually took quite a bit of strength because it was kinda rusted through. it opens up to a large open tile room with nothing there, right when we get to the center we hear footsteps on the stairs, we hugged the wall thinking the cop had found us but then looked outside and saw the cop was way on the other side of the campus. then we heard some more footsteps, i flashed the light on the door, saw absolutely nothing, then the door slammed. We stood there in shock for a second then i jumped out the window onto a huge pile of fill dirt they had on the side of the window. we sat outside for a while talking about what could have happened, it would have had to be a wicked strong wind to slam that door because it was so *heavy*. Then our friends tried their luck again, 3 of them walked back to the window jumped in and got just to the first step going upstairs when we heard from the 3rd floor what sounded like someone running across and slamming doors across the whole building. after that we just checked out the rest of the place and stayed clear of that building. my friends went back to the part that used to be the morgue where there were some gas cylinders from the construction and while they were walking around, one of them turned on and let air out then all of a sudden closed. wish i could have went back again just never had the chance, and sorry for the long post
agunn1231
all right. Hallie (Miss Crafted on the forum) and I have quite a few of these experiences that have happened to us. THis one is fairly recent....the others that we talk about most are from october. But this one happened to us out in Lasalle Colorado. I think i spelled the town name right, anyhoo, We were driving back from a friend's house at around 10:45-11pm. I was driving the car on a back road at about 40 miles per hour and saw something run out in front of my car. It was the color or a golden retirever, but just slightly taller than the front of my car, and had bushy fur like a fox. I swerved to miss it but ended up hitting it between the neck and shoulder with the corner of the front of my car. Both hallie and i felt the front wheels of my cars go over it but not the back. and when we hit it, it had the weight of something much heavier than a dog would be. Well, we ended up getting back to my apartment in Denver, and there was no dent in my car, no fur no blood anything. Hallie did not see this thing when we hit it, but felt the tires going over it....later tonight i'll have her tell her part of this experience though. porksandwich9113
I have only one ghost story that truly scared the crap out of me. I was about 8 at the time. My older brothers were 13 (twins), and my younger brother was 5. My parents decided to go out for the night, and we were home by ourselves. It was dark, raining a bit. Just kind of a dark and dreary night. My brothers thought it was be a good idea to play hide and seek. Naturally one of them was the it, and we all had to go hide. There was this small closet at the top of the stairs, with a top shelf that I lay down in. (remember, I'm 8 and still tiny). I hear my brother counting till 50, then he takes off looking. I don't hear anything after that. All of the sudden I hear some footsteps on the stairs. Not normal like my brothers though. The stairs always creaked, but they weren't at this person walked. Then there was like this jingling sound. Like the person was wearing and ankle bracket that made a lot of noise. I look out of the crack in the door as it has a direct view of the stairs. No one is on the way up. All of the sudden all three of my brothers are running up the stairs (they were all caught) and I hear this screeching noise like a high frequency feedback almost and all the windows in the house slammed shut at the same time. I don't know what happened, or how it happened.. But it scared the crap out of me. That's the only ghostly thing I've had happen in my life. If I actually believed in ghosts, I'd say my brothers all walked in on one doing something, and it freaking out, running and causing all the windows to shut. Arcane
nothing too scary from me.... it was in our old house in mira mesa....i was watching tv in our living room and saw something out the window. from what i remember, it was a guy in a black-ish coat with no face. it was weird, he didn't really have a head but he wasn't actually headless. there was something there, but it was kinda shaded in black....i dunno how to explain it. either way, i told my mom about the guy (she believes in the supernatural somewhat) and then went back to watching tv... every now and then, the guy would appear...he'd walk across the window, stop, turn towards me, wait a while and then leave....sometimes disappear. [/quote] My friend Kelsey and i were on our was to Wal-mart to get dinner. On our way we went down the curved road. Kelsey Asked me, "Did you see that?!" I had been looking out in to the distance and hadn't seen a thing. She said it looked like a pair of eyes streaking across the road from the left to the right. When Alex and I took that road home it was going from the right to the left. I knew we hit it, I've had a deer run in front of a truck I happened to be in. Once again, I didn't see a thing. As soon as we got 5 minutes down the road I burst in to tears with no cause or explanation.
