Sapphire
Another fun find on the West Virginia Surf report. http://thewvsr.com/i...est-of-thewvsr/ Each Item was purchased, taken home and photographed immediately. Nothing was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiney neon-orange, liquefied pumpcheese and all ! Sapphire
I hate it when it happens with Pizza. Its the worst ! I see this awesome looking pizza commercial and think..YEA... I WANT PIZZA TONIGHT ! So I order... and when it shows up at my door and I open the box.. I want to cry. It's that deep sad feeling you get when you travel all across the US to go to a theme park for your favorite roller coaster ride...and finding out that ONE RIDE is closed for repair. Pizza crust is all burned on the bottom, and you could soak a TOWEL with the amount of grease pooling on the top. I can't even bring my self to feed it to the dog. ..... poor fish. mustafabey
Years ago, when i was in the food biz, I met a guy who was a food photographer. he told me what they do to the food to make it look "appetizing" rather disgusting
NitetimeReign
I have yet to see any food ad match what an what you get in reality... Like fries, they always show you a nice full fresh looking box, you order then and it's half empty, half are burned, and all are cold.....lol
LOL ! well that depends . In most cases you would be right...but the problem is when you REALLY WANT THAT AWESOME Perfect looking pizza...and you get the oil fest of a pie... even if it tasted good... My appetite would be lost before I even got to the part of eating it.
agunn1231
I don't really care for fast food. But I get what you mean with the Pizza stuff. That kind of situation always sucks
Chreees
My Domino's pizzas always look scrumptious when I get them... They always taste scrumptious too! Now other places like McDonald's... well, that's another story...
mustafabey
14 years of life in New York City have given me a taste for that thin crust style pie. Here in southern Va that animal barely exists. Pizza chains are a disaster and frozen store pizzas would be rejected in a famine, they are not worthy of the name pizza. These days i make my own.
Pizza really isn't hard to make, and its rather cheap. I get the $0.50 Jiffy pizza crust mix and mix the crust myself, get the great value or ragu pizza sauce, get whatever cheeses you want, mix your own seasonings (one of my favorite parts, i love making my own seasoning mixes), and go at it....however, it is a LOT easier if you have your own pizza stone...they make it a lot easier.
