No one brand stands out above the others as smoking any better. They may FEEL different, i.e. IMO you don't get as much of the feel of smoking a Mya vs a traditional egyptian, but how much smoke you get out of them depends almost entirely on other factors besides the hookah.
This. Pretty much any hookah with the right hose, bowl, and coal management (assuming the shisha is decent) will smoke like a beast. Otherwise it's just a matter of Looks, Durability, and Size. Technique > Brand and Size of Hookah.
Thats true to an extent. I crappy restrictive hookah isn't going to hit as good as a wide gauge hookah. I completely agree that bowl setup/heat management is one of the most important thing on how a hookah smokes. But a restrictive hookah is still restrictive.
I totally disagree with this statement, everyone would have a pumpkin. Look at any sport dominated by equipment. I surf and the greatest surfers could ride anything and still be better than most people in the water. The difference is they crave that last 3% you should never feel you can outperform your equipment. If you are taking the time and effort to do something right why not maximize your performance.
True to some extent. When you can get a 40 dollar Mya hookah that smokes 97% as well as 130$ KM. There is very little incentive to pay that extra 90$ for the 3% unless it's really that big of a deal. But Maximizing your performance.. in everything in life.. Costs too much damn money.
IainUM
whatever works for you is what works the best. I have a friend that had a super cheap mini hookah with a button to turn on some neon lights. less than a foot tall, but he said it smoked the best out of any of the hookah's he has ever bought. kinda weird
