Dogseatfood
So, I keep getting bowl that burn, and leave no taste. I was wondering if there are ways to fix this... HELP.
Hassouni
You need to describe a lot more so that we can help you. What kind of tobacco are you using? Are you packing it tightly or loosely (if you don't know what I mean I or others can elaborate). How many coals are you using and what kind? What kind of foil? How many holes and how big? Also when you first notice it, take the coals off the bowl, take the bowl off, knock the ash off it, and blow through the bowl, then throw the hose to get the stale burnt smoke out There's a lot that goes into it
IainUM
probably too much heat
Hassouni
Yeah too much heat is probably a given, but just backing off the coals won't necessarily solve the problem

Dogseatfood
Well... I'm not really sure hot to describe it. I mean, the bowl was packed a little loose. When we would breathe in it would sting just a little. Wasn't aweful just sorta an annoying. :/ Sorry I'm not helpful with describing....Being new causes issues. Obviously its too much heat. The basic solution is to start with a small amount of coals and move up until you find the right amount.

questions
it could simply be the wholes in the foil? a tiny pc of charcoal falls through, no matter how many or little charcoal..it will taste burnt
joytron
use halves of coals.
A13lackFish
not as many coals, start with one or split the coal into two halves for even heat on the bowl. Also could be that your not double folding your foil (i tend to find that i burn my shisha alot quicker if i only have a single layer) and you need to move the coals to make sure your not burning one area and distributing the heat evenly.
