Home Made Shisha Result

Legit! Congrats on the success. I can get that tobacco right next door to my apts from the beverage store. They sell alcohol, random tobacco stuff, and even have a full-service post office counter in the back, lol. That's where I ship everything from. Beats the line at the real post office. If you post the instructions, I may have to pick some up and concoct my own shisha.

Did something simialer today but with some cheaper pipe tobacco...Did'nt wash it...mixed in some molasses/honey/glycerin and nuked it for about a minn to meld the juices...mixed it up well while it was warm...actully smoked really well...reminded me of a unflavored tangiers....even burned in a very simialer manner...mixed up about a 12g small bowls worth to test and after 45-60 min...the tobacco had hardly been touched under the foil...had nice clouds and a BUZZ like a freight train hauling buffalo...good flavor too...it was a cavindish blend tobacco....so it tased like a sweet black cavindish with molasses and honey notes

next time I'm in town I'll pick up some good black cavindish and maybee some flavorings or spices see what I can find

well my first attempt at homemade failed... I bought some Isfahan tobacco which may be my problem.. but i would figure it would still work since its dry tobacco.. i boiled once drained and patted dry. I bought 100% pure veggie glycerin and i tried something different i bought Karo light corn syrup ( i thought it would be a good substitute for honey or molasses). I used 4 teaspoons damp tobacco 2 teaspoons of glycerin, 1 1/2 teaspoon of light corn syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Finally added some Rootbeer float extract about 2 teaspoons. When i tried to smoke there was very little smoke and no rootbeer taste just strong tobacco taste. My next tester i will add a bit more of the liquids but i want to keep as much of the nicotine in the tobacco as possible. Of course the tobacco i used is not as strong as nicotina rustica.. but will isfahan still give a buzz? or how much % the nicotine is in it?

You have got to start thinking about what you taste with. It aint just your tongue, it's your nose that does a lot of the work in tasting. That's why when you have a stuffy nose things dont taste the same as when your sinuses are clear. This is especially true with hookah vapor. Cant really taste it when you have a cold, that's why most people just do mint when they're stuffed up. It's mentholated and helps clear the nose. Start using real flavorings or aromas with your tobacco. Extracts are more suited to tongue and mouth tasting than to nose tasting which might explain the problem with the root beer extract.
