For those who live in Utah, the county health officials say there will be no hookah bars in Davis County under the guise of "second hand smoke prevention".[url="http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=11998838&hl=12"]

Yeah it is. the county official even goes so far to say he wishes he could nanny government into making them illegal.

The whole second hand smoke argument is a joke here. They act like people are going to force children and non smokers to enter the hookah bar and make them inhale smoke against their will.

Such a joke.. if they care so much about 'second hand' then they should ban air pollution.

Anyone wanting to ban hookahs for 'health reasons' has no idea what they are talking about. If they ban hookahs, then they might as well ban incense, grills, candles.. and anything else involving coals or burning/cooking plant matter...

smoking hookah is the same as cooking something delicious and inhaling the scent.

As far as im concerned, the 2nd hand is only bad if you are burning the molasses.. but so is burning food on the stove!

on what grounds could one make a hookah illegal? that'd be like making cigarettes or cigars illegal
