the one freeman
Summer is over, I've made some money, and now I'm heading back to school. Why not start the year off with a new hookah? I have been thinking of getting the Syrian Engineer (same as pictured) two hose. http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-116-engineer-double-hosed-hookah.html I did read one review on here about it, which had good things to say, but I'm still not convinced. I'm dropping a lot of money on this, and I want to make sure I get a quality hookah. Not just one that looks good, but one that smokes like a champ. Any suggestions or comments about my possible purchase?
Dereksd
id stay away from multi hose hookahs as its just more that can go wrong.if your looking to spend that much id recommend getting a KM.That budget gives you lots of options for nice rigs
the one freeman
I thought about getting a KM, but I really want to get two hoses. I guess I don't like to share haha.
joytron
yeah the stem is screw in and multi piece and the hose ports are not single tubes so its of worse quality than a lot of pipes and still expensive.
Chreees
I'd prefer to get a Mya for a multi-hoser.
the one freeman
ok, well I found a multi hose KM actually. http://www.hookahcompany.com/nar_mashal_khalil_mamoon_hookah_4847_prd1.htm A little bit more money, but still.
Hassouni
I'd prefer to get a Mya for a multi-hoser.
Listen to him. Myas are pretty much the undisputed kings of multi-hosers. KMs apparently not so much. That being said multi-hosers annoy me to no end, but to each his own! Arcane
I bought a H-S hookah and its absolute junk. The purge valve broke off after one use. And like it was mentioned earlier, the hose ports and purge aren't single tube. It's best to stay away from H-S hookahs and just get a brand you can trust. dizzbizz
Myas are great because of the autoseal system, but a KM multihose is great. You'd just have to hold your thumb on the hose and if you're going to smoke solo you're going to plug up the other end with a rubber stopper. Should smoke like a champ though. rahl071
Honestly, I think Mya multis are a matter of convenience. I own three now and love them all, but KM makes good stuff... no disputing that. Honestly... If you're hell bent on a multi, get a good ol' Mya QT-they're about as rugged a pipe as you can get, 2-hosers. for about 10 dollars more than the budget you tossed out for that pipe you selected, you can get a KM to enjoy on your own, and get a mya as a mobile party hookah. just my .02 Edited August 22, 2010 by rahl071
