JOE
take a pinch of tobacco and break it apart and fluff it into the bowl, so it isn't solid, you want air to be able to flow through it.
Chreees
What Joe said, and also make sure the bowl is fully packed, all the way up to the rim of the bowl. When you poke holes make sure it is all over, not too big but not too small. For the coal, put it on the outer edge of the bowl and rotate it around- you'll get better smoke this way. [/quote] we are using molasses tabacco so it is kinda hard to make it fluffy!!!!! Like i said it worked good once then now it will not!!! the only thing different is that i bought a screen and put it on top of the tin foil that holes.. could that maybe the situation ... As i was told to by one as then the coal doesnt sit on the tobabacco and burn it!!!
agunn1231
use tin foil, and you may not have enough heat if it is just molasses tobacco....get some AF of Nak and try those as well ----EDIT--- If possible, post pics of the hookah and the type of tobacco, this may help people givemore advice Edited August 24, 2010 by agunn1231
Chreees
Use the foil, not the screen. It'll work much better. Whenever I pack bowls, I pack it all the way above the rim by just a tiny bit, then I press down to where it's flush with the rim, then I apply foil, poke holes, apply coals... So my tobacco is always touching the foil, and I never get burning...
