Buford
As I'm sitting here at work with a chaw of Cumberland twist, I had a weird thought. It sounds kinda out there, and some might find it blasphemous, but has anyone ever tried chewing Tangiers tobacco after letting it dry out for a while? (I mean, it does look a lot like chewing tobacco...) Chewing tobacco is often flavored with molasses, so it doesn't seem TOO out there. Back a century ago, there wasn't too much of a distinction between smoking tobacco and chewing tobacco other than the chewing variety being sweeter flavored. Twist in partictlar was often used for either. It's probably too heavily flavored to chew, and I'm not sure how the glycerin content would affect it since it's designed to smoked in a shisha. Just a random thought.
SanguineSolitude
i have tried chewing a little shisha and it always seems to have a much harsher mouth taste than chew. you should give it a try though.
Lakemonster
Well.. glycerin has been used to combat constipation.... and not particularly "gentle" if you get the drift.

Buford
Hm, I thought glycerin was used in the... other end for that purpose.
mushrat
Ya..its often done at the nether end... I've always thought Tangiers might make a good chew...but I don't chew myself..I'll have to find a volunteer.
Sonthert
I've tried it and I've heard several strange reports of people being literally compelled to chew on some, notably cocoa and blueberry. Even those strangely possessed people didn't like it. My tobacco won't dry out, by the way. Well constructed tobacco won't "dry out".
