Threaded Metal Hookah Bowl?

Hi,
I was smoking hookah at my friends house and his buddy came over and set his own hookah up. I saw that he had this crazy looking bowl, made out of metal. It was 2 pieces that screwed together with the shisha in the middle and coal on top. Its the same concept as this one [url="http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-980-ultimate-combo-hookah-bowl.html"]http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-980-ultimate-combo-hookah-bowl.html[/url] except in a smaller and much more convenient package. Hes a hookah wholesaler and said it was a prototype bowl. Smoked really well and I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with them or knows where I could buy one?

I wonder what metal, and how that would handle overheating..I imagine a buildup, then just Burnt shit.

Yeah and imagine trying to take the bowl off...ceramic is bad enough

Combo bowls are a bitch to work with during a session.... main problem is the metal heats up so bad due to the coals, you wouldn't be able to pry it open without mitts. And that would be overly clumsy to do. That kinda makes coal management impossible.

And it's like redjako said.... Metals dont handle heat as well as ceramics.
Would love to see this prototype working though

Yeah metal would get much hotter than ceramic and would most likely burn out the tobacco quicker. But then again it depends on the type of metal.
