We just went to buy some new natural coal I think its the Al Fahker's one (sp?) anyway and the guy told us that the state will be putting a ban on all flavored Tabacco.. Making it ILLEGAL! GASP what can we do? Whats all this bullshit on its bad for you? When ciggarettes are 100x worse for you but still on the market? OH yeah. Because the government ain't making any money on it! *slaps forehead*
Travis
Hey welcome to the forum...... Idk if what your talking about is the ban that went in effect earlier in the year, but it only banned flavored cigarettes, not shisa. Shisha is classified as pipe tobacco, no cigarette tobacco. By the way...this place is extremely helpful to everyone, beginner or veteran. Please take the time to read the rules, and kindly change your avatar while your at it. Rani
I'm still pissed off about flavored cigarettes being pulled. I'm well over 21 and I can't have my vanilla cigarettes anymore because the jackasses in this country can't control their kids? Bullshit. The only thing that reduces my full out rant is the fact that a number of companies changed their wrappers to cigarillo brown wraps and are calling them cigars. IainUM
i think the ban on flavored cigs is kinda dumb. let people choose their poison, as some say.

smoothvirus
Shisha is still legal in all 50 states, but there's a lawmaker in Utah that has proposed a bill which "could" outlaw it. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/home/50133959-76/tobacco-products-flavored-ray.html.csp
Zeusophobia
You could always order it online. I found the online prices are cheaper than a physical store and have a broader selection. They are trying to ban pretty much all tobacco products that will entice kid to smoke. If someone government big wig decided that flavored tobacco was going to get kids to smoke, it wouldn't be hard for him to pass that bill. Same thing happened to camel crushes. That new feature that they had was deemed something that would make kids want to smoke.
Venger
Vote. It is really easy to get rid of these ridiculous nanny laws. Vote the people who voted for it out of office. Just remember it is the same people who voted for universal health care so you can't have your cake and eat it too. Ray
Chreees
Ray's right. This is an issue of the egotistical government thinking they know what's best for you and I. Only problem is both sides are that way... so you can only vote independent or don't vote at all really.
IainUM
at this rate we'll be outlaws, forced to smoke in the wild wild west, where the law doesn't exist!
