My New Km!

Recommended Posts

here's my new KM that i got from caravan. they took a little while to ship it and i had to wait to the weekend to come home from my dorm to pick it up and smoke it, but i am now sure that it was worth the wait. i fucking love this thing. smokes sooooo much better than my old no-name. here's the pics like promised:

sorry, can't figure out how to re-size these things, so i have to do a new post with each picture, which is kinda lame, but whatever

i know, right? i wasn't sure how much i would like it until i saw it in person. i think it looks incredible, but we'll see how long the paint lasts on this thing before it peels off (crossing my fingers it doesn't)

i christened it last night with a free sample of Salaam Wild Berry they sent with it (i left my tobacco stash in miami at my dorm room).

the Salaam, i was nervous about since it was an herbal shisha, was really great. glad i used it for the first bowl

the bowl itself, i don't like that much. i'll probably use my other bowls more often when i get back to miami, since this one is very shallow but wide and i prefer a smaller, but deeper bowl

Head off to the artists supply store and pick up some spray varnish. Or the hardware store for spray polyurethane, but the poly stuff will yellow slightly over time. You won't be able to tell until after a few years you hold it next to one uncoated, but it will happen slightly, just so you know. Both the varnish and poly coats dry in about 15 minutes, so an afternoon spent going outside every little while and spraying it over and over, and you'll get a good seal. It will seal all the edges of the paint so water can't get under them and start the peeling process. And one can of either has enough in it to seal probably 3 vases.
