Sapphire
I am in need of some name ideas! I am starting my own business directed at tourists. It is kind of like shops in Hawaii and Sea world, where you can pick an Oyster..then open it up and get a pearl, then they put it in some sort of setting for you. Only mine will be on a much smaller scale, and I will not be forcing anyone to set the pearl into an expensive ring or anything. Mine is much more directed at the common person, tourists, and anyone who wants to send an ( oyster gram ) to a loved one in another state. OR… just buy them for gifts on special occasions or whatever. Anyway, I need ideas for a NAME for my business. AND a catchy logo phrase. Here is an example, only mine will be packaged different with more of a sea creature theme, and have Fish, Dolphin, Turtle, Shell and Pirate charms and packaging.

jorlyfish
"Pearls of wisdom" is another common pearl idiom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nine_Pearls -- this is kind of interesting and "Nine Pearls" is very simple and clean sounding. Not that you even have to put the word "pearl" or "oyster" etc. in the name
Sapphire
LMAO!!! LOVE THE PICS! Actually I need a logo for my shirts! So if any of you see some good logos for shirts post em! We are trying to decide if we should have the word oyster in it, or if we should go with something like ... Treasure Trove.... incase we open it up for different items later when things get going. Hubby also came up with : Boysterous Oyster Treasure Cove Sea Secrets Secret Treasures Hidden Pearl But not sold on anything yet so keep the ideas coming for shirts, names and logos. And thanks to you all for helping me out on this. = )
Sapphire
Figured I would update : Buisness is GOOD! These things sell like HOT CAKES! I have already had to restock and am planning to load up for Christmas and the holiday season. We even have it all set up for Oyster grams by mail. = ) We just charge $5.00 extra for the postage, packaging and special note cards they get to write out and send with. It's a lot of fun so far.
