Starbuzz Ready Head

Recommended Posts

So, I got a SB ready head out of morbid cuiosity thinking I might use them when I go to my grandmas or something to make set up easier and produce less questions. Well, I opened it out of the cardboard box it comes in, there was juices all over, the sticker that covered the pre-placed holes wasn't on correctly and only covered half the holes. Then when I went to take the sticker off the top, it tore the foil apart. The head didn't smoke well, I assume because all the flavor/juice leaked out of the bowl but I am kind of dissappointed since I've seen these things smoke well in videos but mine was crap. I want to try another one, hopefully that isn't faulted, to see if they're really worth it for traveling. Anyone else have issues with them?

I've never seen the SB ready heads before.  Just some crap called EZ-Head that sucked hard.  It's a good idea to keep it inconspicuous from your G-Ma, but I wonder if you will ever get decent results?  :empathy2:

that sucks it sucked. i saw those and thought they were clever. there are definitely ocassions they'd be nice. like anything else that's a new concept, they might suck for a while. then get better and who knows, maybe they'll offer bigger ones. props to them for giving it a try.

Well I saw a few reviews done on them and none of them had the issues that I had so I think it might had just been an accident on the sticker placement...who knows

I haven't used them but for the amount of tobacco it is not economically friendly. If you want to make set up for your grandmas place easier, just prepack your bowl and cover it with foil and then poke holes when you get there.

hell yeah, that's a good idea. i'm going camping tomorrow, i might try that. not my favorite thing setting up in the dark without a sink.

you can pretty much replicate the ready head with a tea light candle foil housing

I found another one at the local shop here and it wasn't faulty. They're actually pretty nice, but I had to tiker with the heat a little. I tried one coal but it was too much concentrated heat so I broke it in half and it was perfection. It smokes very well for 2 rounds of 2 1/2 coals but not much after that. I'd give them a 8/10 -- -1 for the heat management and -1 for the occasional sticker misplacement

Yeah you can, but the point is to sample flavors without spending the 12 bucks on 100g.
