Any One Know If This Is Any Good

So, not too long ago some guy at a local lounge said he puts lemon slices in his base water. Anyone tried this? Does it make any difference? I've noticed other liquids don't make much of a flavor difference for me. but i was wondering if actually putting lemon slices in the water would be tasty.

I don't think there's anything to do about that but try it and report back.

I did this when i first started smoking hookah. Dose nothing for taste . It dose help the base from getting a too strong "Base water"smell. That smell a base gets after smoking all night.

Did this with Romman Summer Crisp a while back... Everyone on here really enjoys this flavor but I really didnt like it. And after I gave it a 2nd run WITHOUT the lemon slices I disliked it even more. I feel like they did make a small fresh difference.

actually cut up a lemon rhine (sp?) really tiny and put it in the bowl with your tobacco..wow...tastes great..as well as strawberry's/banana's..whatever fruit you could think of...tastes great

i've heard lemon juice, as opposed to lemon slices is pretty good, but i just haven't tried it yet out of laziness...

Well, I went ahead and tried it out today with a few different shishas. first was some Nak choco-mint, Suprisingly, i could taste a bit of the lemon and it was a really funky flavor, next i tried with Nak Orange, this was so so....but still i could taste the lemon. Later on as the lemon slices were getting pulverized by the bubbles and hitting the downstem, i tried a bowl of AF Mint, It was amazing, a hint of lemon at the beginning of a pull, then hit with mint, and then back to a nice after taste of lemon....if i had any more AF Mint left i'd do this again.

Lemon juice. The stronger the scent of the stuff is, the more you'll taste it when smoking.

agreed. my friends tried putting red wine in the base (just red wine) and it was almost impossible to smoke, cause when you took a hit you just inhaled like the scent/fumes from the wine. it was terrible

not suprising that you like this with some tobaccos. It is after all, the way they added a little flavour before the flavoured shishas. Fruit slices in the water and/or mixed in with the shisha (tombak, saloum, etc.)
