DJ Kae Dae
Hey there, I've been having some issue with some of my shisha flavors (all i have are starbuzz at the moment) and noticed that the shisha that's somewhat dry or moist (opposed to shiny saturated wet) smokes the best. I get the most smoke out of it and I get this dry less dense smoke from my starbuzz that's super wet. I've managed that problem by now by separating the shisha and patting it down lightly with a tissue paper before it goes into the bowl. My next issue is, the starbuzz tobacco is cut so big. When I've read the how to's on how to pack the bowl and to sprinkle it on the bowl... i've noticed that if i were to do that, i'd be dropping in small little nuggets. I get the best results from taking two little tooth picks or coal pokers and manually separating each and every little nugget so that the tobacco leafs are somewhat fanned out or spread out.. .AND THEN i sprinkle it in the bowl... It gives me nice clouds... but it just seems a little excessive and time consuming. Sometimes just knowing that i'd have to spend time doing that discourages me from wanting to hookah. Any suggestions? Is that the normal starbuzz cut like? I have pictures of it i can probably post if anyone is curious as to what my process looks like. lol. peace all. Lucy Ford
i've never had a problem with starbuzz. i'm smoking pirate's cave as i type and the clouds are making it hard to read the screen. I don't do anything special when i pack the bowl. I keep the tobacco in the bag it came in and inside the tin folded up. reach to the bottom for the juiciest tobacco and pack as is. 5 minutes tops
king_lunchb0x
you shouldn't really have to go through all that to get great smoke... play around more with packing and little more heat. starbuzz is not that liquidy imo to have to pat with a towel..just mix really good and pack little moore
DJ Kae Dae
I'll try that tonight... Exotic White Peach. My white peach is somewhat on the drier side and i've noticed i've gotten really good clouds with. Then my Sex On the Beach is super juicy and when i pack a bowl with it, it gives me this dry feeling in my mouth as well as it takes a little longer to get some good smoke. Anyway, I got my electric coil burner today and I'm dying to find out how much faster my Coco's will light. thanks for the input. I'll say fuck it and load a bowl without all the OCD type of ritual as before. We'll see how it goes. Peace and thanks.

DJ Kae Dae
Okay. So ya'll were right... Didn't have to go through all that hastle. Max load time 5 minutes. Love the new electric single coil burner, haha max coal heating time 5 minutes. I think where I went wrong before with wetter shisha was place the coco's on the bowl prematurely. Since I had one of those gas can stoves, I would heat them up until I saw most of the coals red... teeteedee... I put 3 full coco's on there last night. r1v3th3ad
personally I rarely smoke starbuzz... ...but from my experience, I generally stir and shake the shisha real well(I keep mine in mason jars)...that separates it enough for a nice fluffy pack, the occasional "nugget" doesn't effect the bowl if most of it is fluffed out
