Heat and shisha!

Recommended Posts

Well ive just realized something. Im driving across the country with 1000+ grams of shisha in my back seat. Currentally im in Arizona and its hot! I was wondering if the heat can effect the flavor/change the tobacco? Also, one of the 250g containers has a crack in it. Normally this isnt a big deal since i keep all my shisha in gladware, but with the heat and the honey/molasses possibally thining out, could it be a problem? Ive already wrapped each container with aliminum foil and put each one in a ziplock baggie. Is this the best thing to do?Thanks,BH1

First off, no AC in the car?Second, dont wrap those containers too tight. If they are too tight, think of Reynolds Wrap Grilling Pouches... You would really only want to place foil on the areas where the sun hits the containers. So say you had all your shisha in one of the footwells of the seats. I would just put a piece of foil ontop of them. (shiny side up)I would keep that stuff out of the trunk though. Make sure it says in the cabin with you.

I killed a 50g of Af by leaving it in my backpack in a car all day in the sun. It changed colour and the flavour mutated....

I think the sadder thing is that you actually still smoked it, even
after noticing the color had changed. Guess theres only one way to find
out if ma'assel stays good when exposed to major sun/heat. Thanks Mush
for taking one for the team

I can't believe they'd use Red#2 when Red#40 is so much safer and more stable

There goes mr. rational...bringing facts into the picture again...
Ya, i smoked it even though it looked different..no use wasting it until i was SURE it had changed...so now i can speak authoritativly when I say, leaving your ma'asell in a hot car all day MAY effect the flavour..
