Purge Valve

Recommended Posts

Yes, purge valves typically do come off, although I have seen a Chinese hookah that my friend has where it does not. Post a picture of it if you can so we can identify it for you. It might just be stuck and you need to take some pliers to it (put a towel or something on the valve while you grip it though, so you don't scratch it all up).

does this work? I know it is kinda small but for some reason i can not get it to work. If the purge valve is one that does not come off how do i clean it?

It looks like a honghao hookah. I am not sure if that helps.

Wait, are you talking about the entire valve coming off like on Myas or just the top so you can access the bearing? The only ones I've seen where the entire valve comes off are Chinese made hookahs.

I had a Chinese hookah once with the same kind of purge valve. I tried to turn it and get it off and it snapped. It was made of chrome plated plastic. Threw the whole thing out...yeah it was pumpkin
