noodle
So, here's another inquiry on makes... Does anyone here have any useful thoughts to share on hookah-shisha.com's Egyptian line of hookahs? I found a couple reviews in the review section, but those are from before H-S overhauled the design.
Chreees
I hear they're good, but for the price I'd rather just get a real KM...
Epoch
Don't know about the standard Egyptians. I've got an H-S Syrian Chiller that's pretty nice (especially the detail work), and a Nammor Ramses III that is absolutely spectacular.
noodle
I hear they're good, but for the price I'd rather just get a real KM...
I ask because they're around half to two-thirds the price of a KM.
Chreees
Last time I looked they were about the same prices... for the ones I recognized as being just like certain KM models, anyway. EDIT: I just took a look at that particular model, and it's a Syrian style one. I have no idea how it performs. I think someone on here has one though... liquidglass
I've had one of their pharaoh hookahs, let me just go ahead and say you'd be much happier buying a KM with hookahjohn, than a pharaoh with H-S.com, they are lower quality, thin metal. Least in my experience.
Epoch
The Nammor hookahs are a much better deal for the price. The detail work is much nicer, and it'll save you money getting a nice hose.

Chreees
Yeah, it's a Syrian style hose port... and purge....
noodle
So, I'm still trying to figure out how sturdy this hookah is and how it smokes. Also, what's the deal with previous discussion about these hookahs not actually being made of stainless steel? I'm not particularly concerned with decorations, chasing, engraving, and such. Stuie
It's a beast. All the Nammor line of hookahs are good hookahs. I have an old 3 hose pharaoh that i love. I also have tried the new Gizi, Azizi, ans several others. I think they are good for the price. Especially since the nammors come with a nammor hose... and while supplies last a 100g of Tangiers. Epoch
I've never had rust on my Nammor Ramses III, and it's made by the same company.

I couldn't get the guy on the phone to understand the difference.
Epoch
The downstem, yes. Other sections of the shaft are made of brass and copper.
