Genie
I don't think the bases he gave me are the original but it came with two.
They're both nice, but this one is NIIIICE!
Genie
I epoxied it to the tray holder. I did a VERY thin line on the bottom of the bowl adapter and a very thin line again on the inside circumference of the tray holder. I then held pressure on it for about 5 minutes, then let it dry. Smoked it today after 24 hours of curing and its strong as an ox. I was worried it would get hot and the epoxy would fume, but throughout the session I'd touch it and it would be cold, even 4 rounds of coals later. I found that it not being attached did cause a minor air leak because the stem would insert into the bowl adapter leaving an opening between the adapter and the stem. If you seal up either end, it should be air tight and leak free.
Shoot, mine seems to have a good seal even though that piece spins, but now you've got me thinking maybe I should seal mine up too. Or maybe I'll ask hubby if he can weld it for me. Epoch
Just a thought about that lotus stamp under the tray: my Nammor Ramses III hookah has the exact same pattern engraved under the tray. Your pic of it could have been a pic of mine and I wouldn't know the difference.
Chreees
That's because Nammors are made using various parts from Khalil Mamoons, Temsahs, and Magdy Zaidans. Atleast that's what I heard elsewhere.
Chreees
Oh and it doesn't matter if those are the original vases or not because KM doesn't make the vases anyway. You've got yourself two very nice jars there. Especially that clear red one; lots of people want that style pretty bad.
