Trying To Get A Km

Well, I realy want to buy a KM.

The thing is that I live in Greece. Finding a KM here is nearly impossible.

I was looking through some sites from US and UK to make an order, but shipping from US to Greece is a lot.

If you have anything to suggest me I'm listening.

My basic question is, when it comes to choose a KM, what should I must check?

Well, a 28" KM smokes the same like a 38"?

Are there any other stuff that can make difference on the smoking experience, except looks?

If there's any difference between how a 28" vs. 38" smokes, it's less than you'd be able to notice. I mean I've smoked a 13" Mya Petite and 35" KM Pear side-by-side and the only difference I noticed was a slightly lower temperature of smoke coming from the KM due to a combination of factors contributing to a slightly higher degree of heat dissapation.

Besides that, I actually prefer the ones in the 28" range because they don't wobble like the really tall ones when you smoke them. They're also more practical. Most hookah stem brushes won't go all the way through a 38" stem while they'll easily go through a 28". Also when it comes to storage and transportation, the smaller the better. All my Egyptians are in this height range.

Since shipping will be significant to Greece, I'd recommend the KM Amer (Hookah John and Hookah Co. both have this in stock). It's relatively inexpensive and has some relatively large plumbing which will help your pull. It's about 29" and is all stainless steel. The downsides are these: it's hollow (most people don't care but I prefer solid stems) and the stem is not technically KM. From what I've been able to figure out, the hookah came from KM but is not ALL KM. The base, tray, and hose are, but not the stem. Honestly, the thing smokes like a beast. I'd recommend it regardless of it's impure pedigree.

Just pick something out that you really like. After that, get a phunnel bowl and spend some time choosing your tobacco. The reality is, it's what you put on the top of your hookah that ultimately determines what kind of session you're going to have.

Well, guys I bought an egyptian hookah, not KM, and had a realy bad hose, so I asked the guy in the lounge, if he had any other hose to swap it for me. And he had this hose:

Is that hose Ok? I find it realy nice, the only problem, I didn't get the original mouth part and the original wooden part that goes into the stem.

And I want an acrlyic mouth part.

Is there any store out there selling those?

And also, what is the name of that hose?

Well, it is the exact same as in the pic with the blue KM I posted, it has the same symbols, and sais "KHALIL MAAMOON" too.
