GIO
Tried to use a monster can as a wind cover for my vortex, it didnt fit.. vortex to wide .. anyone had same problem? any recommendation?
IainUM
get a phunnel? lol you might want to try something a bit larger. i think they make pretty huge monster cans, but i dunno what size you used. maybe invest in a real windcover? what i do when it is really windy is i just make a makeshift cover out of more foil. you can leave it open or close it to mess with the heat more, too
GIO
:-) thanks.... maybe i did buy a small can. I will search for other size.
r1v3th3ad
not to get away from what you're asking for, but I'd lose the vortex if you do want something that will work, try hookahjohn's tangier's sized wind covers...they will work and be careful with the monster can...I remember reading in the past year that someone had one errupt into flames(I'm guessing the ink they use on the can)
Travis
Step 1. Go to the hardware store. Step 2. Go to the vent work/air duct section. Step 2 and heif. Grab you a 4" adjustable elbow Step 5. Go to checkout Step 9. Walk past checkout, out the door. Step 3. Run home and put it on your bowl.

Anxiety
hookah john's wind cover for Phunnel's is just awesome, it's big enough to even cover KM's That's what I use anyway, but if you're handy you can defiantly build one yourself...best of luck! Chreees
Before I got my Tangiers-sized windcover, I did this: It's just aluminum foil folded over, taped together, and formed to rest on the lip of the bowl. I call it the "crown windcover."
IainUM
nice. it has been oddly windy here in miami the past few days, so i have just been making wind covers out of foil on top and it seems to work just fine

Just pick it up with the next online order. I was really hesitant too cause thats a significant amount of money for an accessory, but I was tired of my rig looking tacky with a soda can on top. Its a good investment, if you use if often like me.
