Goodbye Km Vase

Recommended Posts

This morning, my girlfriend had gotten a chance to go to the living room before anyone else. The first thing I hear is "Oh shit! It's broke!". Rushing out and fearing the worst, I see my end table overturned and my 32" KM Tri-Metal splayed across the floor, shards of glass everywhere.

I have a small wooden end table I specifically use for hookah, and set aside against the wall to keep my pipe on as decoration. The only thing I can assume happen is that, while my larger cat was in a heated game of tag chasing or being chased by our new kitten, one of them crashed into the table.

Goodbye pretty vase, I will miss you. I post this because it's the first vase I've ever had broken, and was broken after a year and a half of solid service.

Who else has had a vase broken? How did it happen?

Edit: Luckily, even though the Tangiers Small Phunnel atop said hookah experienced a greater fall and was flung into the wall, it survived. Edited by sensae

At least you can close the thread and the nightmare goes away. That poor husk of a vase sits on the corner of my desk, and I sit here, unable to throw it away. At least until a replacement comes. :blum2:

My 3 dogs stay away from hookahs, I tell them about a certain recipe I picked up in the jungles of Vietnam. Recipe works well for cats too,but you need to leave out the oyster sauce and add some fermented black beans. (Seriously i love animals and wish them no harm)

Terribly sorry for your loss, and I hope for the best on your search for a replacement.

My first and last (hopefully) vase-breaking inccident was when I told my friend to follow me into the kitchen for post smoking clean up. I had my supplies, and normally I do it all myself but hey, why not. I can trust him.He carries it in, but low and behold, althoguh this was my fault for being lazy, he carries it in by the stem. two steps past the concrete, and the stem and vase decide not to be friends anymore.

I've never seen my friend look so pitiful. Oh well..
