How Long Does It Take You To Pack A Bowl?

Sup all,

I know some who throw the flavour in the bowl and wrap it with foil within 1-2 minutes.

I usually take about 5 minutes..I rather be safe, than sorry. I would hate to sit and think in the middle of a session..If I took the extra few minutes to pack, It might of smoked better.

So guys, let me know.

How long does it take you to a pack a bowl?

Depends on what it is.. Tangiers (and Nakhla, kinda) takes a little longer since it needs to be backed tight, and needs a lot of holes that go all the way to the bottom of the bowl (without ripping the foil). But yeah, I'd say 5ish minutes for that, and maybe 2-3 minutes for something I can just throw in there and punch shallower holes for.

less than a minute for nakhla...about 2-3 for Tangiers....

About how long it takes to light CCN halves. Chuck 'em on the stove top, pack some shisha, foil it up, make a screen, grab hot coals, get smoking.

I agree with Epoch.

I usually try to hae my bowl set and ready by the time the coals are red hot, its just easier to time i all out that way. I enjoy routine.

That's good to hear I aint the only one.

It takes me ages to light natural coals on the gas stove.

I need to get myself a coil burner.

for me, it varies on the size of the bowl.
Tangiers in a small-large phunnel range from 1-3 minutes.
1-2 in a medium/large
2-3 in a small
(this includes poking holes, foil, etc.)

about 10 minutes, have to make sure I get the correct amount of mint mixture with the double apple

45-50 seconds...The more you think about it and mess with the more likely you are just going to mess it up. The leading cause of "Tangiers won't smoke right" issues.

i think about 80 seconds for the Large phunnel... it's pretty honking huge.

about 4-5 minutes, though I could do it in 3 if I wanted to rush it. But I take it easy, wash my hands before putting the foil etc...

It takes me a couple of minutes, but by the time I'm finished with my hookah routine, the cocos are lit and I can smoke as soon as I put the bowl on the hookah,
