TweakX4
so i've been looking for a nice 2 hose hookah for a while now and i came across this one today http://www.hookahcompany.com/2_hose_temsaah_hookah_5273_prd1.htm i know there isn't a whole lot of talk about the temsaahs but when i do hear about them, it's usually good things. i'm just wondering if this is a good hookah. i don't know much/anything about temsaahs, but the page says they're known for their brass hookahs... but this one is stainless steel. and also, are they good two hose hookahs? antouwan
i smoked a single hose version of that exact model few hours ago at a local cafe. standard egyptian, man. you'll get good results from it, i'm pretty sure.
Travis
Km/Temsaah Same people that produce for KM, are the same for Temsaah. If you look around enough you'll see a lot of Temsaah pieces that have Khalil Mamoon stamped on them. Good pipe, I say get it.

TweakX4
sweet, if i can hold off on doing any random/big purchases till next thursday, i'll be picking this up. thanks guys. another quick question, i tend to smoke while playing video games and plugging the hose while plaing/not smoking isn't really an option. do these, or which adapters will have an auto seal? TweakX4
damn, i knew it was too goo to be true. tho i heard of someone on here just using like an air soft bb in the adapter or something. any luck on that?

[/quote] that was to replace the faulty/and or lost bb in the mya hose ports. If you put a bb in the temsaah hose port, it would just fall into the vase. antouwan
we don't use the double hose that often (it's a generic egyptian), but when we do, my cousin just holds it against his chin or the outside of his lip to plug it whenever we're playing cards. it's pretty easy with long-handled hoses. antouwan
also, the stock hoses on that pipe suck. they have an awful draw - VERY thin diameter. definitely upgrade. if you can't splurge for narbs, HC has some cheap generic egyptian hoses that work just as well as any other 3-piece egyptian hose. i would go with these. they're like 5 bucks more than the generic ones. and they're temsaah and black...so it's aesthetically all good, too. also, they have plastic end pieces that go into the hookah, so you don't have to worry about shitting wooden ones (i got a wooden end that was poorly bored out and killed the air flow). don't forget that hookahforum discount on hc is 15%! mitchard
To be honest, I havent heard many good things about the non-brass Temsahs. A lot of remarks on their quality being mediocre at best.
ih303
Damn military firewall! I can't see which one you're talking about. Anyway, Temsaahs are great pipes. In fact, I actually consider them to be the BEST pipes on the market at the moment. I've still got much love for KM's but their quality's been slipping a lot, and most of what you see nowadays with the KM logo on it are hollow and just don't feel all that quality. In fact, I just bought another Temsaah this week. All mine are solid brass (which is certainly that company's forte) and I love them all. I think you're making a good choice by going with that brand. Regarding your hose/video game delimma, your only option here is to get a Mya with autoseal ports if you really want the hands-free, multi-hose functionality. Or better yet, just buy two single-hose hookahs.

Nima
Its funny because Temsah is a Persian word (fromI Iran) and it means alligator. That being said if your hookah is KM you are good to go.
Hassouni
Same word in Arabic. Apparently it stems from Coptic (descendant of Egyptian), as the first crocodiles the Arabs encountered were in the Nile
