Motion Sickness?

Sapphire

Recommended Posts

So I have been asked to go deep sea fishing on Saturday with the Boss.
I am not big into fishing, but hey.. its the boss so I kinda gotta go rub shoulders. Problem is, I get WAY sea sick .

Anyone have any good remedies for sea sickness?

dram works well but a great non-drowsy version is Bonine (right beside dram at any pharmacy) My girlfriend gets sea sick but keeping Bonine on hand kept her through a cruise just fine, so take one about an hour before you're on the boat and you're good for the whole day.

I have heard Ginger works too. Anyone know any others? I will take some D with me for sure, but It usually makes me really sleepy. Even the less drowsy one.
I'm all stressed out cause this is like a HUGE thing. " Boss inner circle" kinda deal. And I can just picture my self . I will be the Bridget Jones looking chick with like ...5 life jackets on, rain gear, and hanging over the side of the boat with non stop vomit.
Then they will never invite me back.

Oh..did I mention... I am TERRIFIED of the ocean? hanging on beaches is ok...I still get very nervous. But being out in the Deep Deep ocean is just......Oh man.....

But I gotta be supportive of hubby and his boss. This is a big deal so I am going to do the best I can. Just need a little help. lol.
