Josh Hamilton
I got the KM washable hoses ($1.50) ....I will believe you if you say the draw is like a narbish/nammor/razan...the hose id is very wide...I might try to put them in between MYA hoses that I have...just have to figure out a way to make them ez connect (oh and I have smoke from them...aesthetically they are not favorable...my friends got used to the narbish with tennis grips) Edited November 1, 2010 by Josh Hamilton
ih303
I got a couple in the mail last week and have been smoking them at the lounge since then. The verdict? I don't think I'll be serving these in my lounge. Here's why. 1) The material they're made from is obviously different than the AF Healthy Hose. Sure I understand they're marketed as disposable, but I had the idea of using them more as an inexpensive washable hose. The problem is, these things seem to ghost like no other. We tried washing one and tasted worse after we washed it than it did before. I'll point out here that I do not discount this product because of this because we are attempting to use them outside of their reccommended usage. 2) I don't agree with the whole "disposable hose" concept in general. Yesterday I talked with one of the guys from NuHose who explained to me that this is the new rage in the mid-east since apparently lounges are no longer able to re-use hoses because of health issues (my friends from Saudi verified this, of course, this is not true). Also, apparently in California the majority of lounge patrons refuse to smoke out of hoses that are not new, and for a lounge to offer anything less is a reflection of shotty business. Wait, *cough* what? Come on... First off, it's my experience that many people don't really care about sharing hoses, and if they do they'd much rather ask for a free hose tip than buy a hose to use once then throw it away. Second, I've tried serving disposable hoses to customers before, and while the NuHose is head and shoulders above the HH, it's still not what people expect to smoke out of when they pay to go smoke at a lounge. I mean if I went to a nice restaurant and they told me that for an addtional fee they could serve me my steak on a steralized paper plate with a hermetically sealed spork and paper cup I'd probably laugh. Look, I understand the guy's just trying to create a market for his product, but don't blow smoke up my ass and try to tell me what my customers want. On the positive though, I still think it's a great hose. It's got a super clean, easy draw and does not coil like the HH. Overall, everyone I let smoke out of it was impressed. Again, I'm not really sure there's a market for a true one-time-use disposable hose, but there is a market for an inexpensive, basic, washable-hose. If the NuHose can pull that off I can see it going somewhere. Otherwise I think it will simply slip into the margin like the HH. Remember, folks - this is only my personal opinion. YMMV. ammoura1
Just got one. Here are some pointers: 1) very light hose 2) smoked with it 4 times. Still good. Will probably last longer then expected 3) Esthetically, not the most beautiful hose on the market. But hey, for 4 dollars, who would complain? 4) Draw is amazing. No complaints Definitively a good hose. I recommend it.
antouwan
as ammoura said, the hoses are EXTREMELY light. i was blown away by how light they are, but maybe that's because i had just switched it out with john's solid wood syrian 'beater' hose. that hose is bigger than a chair leg - seriously. so yeah, super-light/cheap feeling not really aesthetically pleasing functions REALLY well. all in all: this isn't something i would use regularly, even though the flow is amazing. I would for sure take this to lounges, though. shitty, old, mya hoses with bad flow that are filthy...or my own hose? yeah, the choice is clear, this is just super convenient because it's so light and compact. jeremyk
personally i love this hose! 1. extremely lite easy to hold 2. $4 cant beat that price for how good it functions 3. smokes like a beast in my opinion great draw 4. super easy to wash put it in my dishwasher n smelled new when it came out 5. haven't experienced ghosting at all probably smoked out it like 20 times washed once to see if it would hold up overall i really like this hose it's not as sexy looking as some of the narbish's, km's, or nammor hoses (which i still use off n on) but i good cheap hose in my opinion
nun
Works great, light and kinda stiff. I like how it's washable and transparent, but no matter how hard I shake and tap it there's still water trapped inside.

I'm kind of a germaphobe too, and to be honest, If I were going to a hookah lounge, I'd bring my own hose because I don't like the idea of breathing into something that other people I've never met have breathed in. I don't know if they are sick, have an STD or what. This is assuming they've cleaned their hookahs properly.
