this is the very same thing I do.I also seal the door with wet paper towel to get a hot box effect without bothering the wife and kid.

I'm not sure that I'm doing it right, when I put the paper towels on the toilet seat, they're dry. But by the time I'm done, they're wet?
I know I'm a n00b and you guys are tired of these questions, but I need help people!!!!!!!!!!!!

a common problem. try wetting them first then put the all around the edge of the bowl. Don't let the water in the bowl touch the paper (although some people fill the water all the way up so it touches the paper they say they get a better seal) then sit. you might have to twist a little to get a good seal.you can use as little or as much as you want. hope this helps. play around with it no one technique is perfect but you'll get it.
