no longer welcome
it's hard to tell, first off, i don't know how you could possibly make it better, meaning it's just flavored tobacco, keep it simple. what i have seen too much is just a ton of "flavors" that make it interesting and less boring, however, most of the products whether it be shisha or hookahs are not impressing me. now, some are going to extremes like "ultra modern" hookahs, with huge price tags. i mean their ok and all, but just not improving anything. i hope it stays the same more than i hope it gets worse, my 2 cents

Sometimes when something gets good or popular people screw it up. There is a certain simplicity to the whole hookah that doesnt need electric neon flavors and hookah with lights that pulsate to music. Give a solid well made classic middle eastern hookah and some double apple anytime
there already is Hookah app I think that there will be a wider public acceptance. or atleast fewer misconceptions about hookah. Leading to people not minding when folks smoke hookah on campus or at parks. Because for a lot of people smoking hookah in public now-a-days in the US can be tough. Pretender85
Nothing really to improve on as far as hookahs hoses tips and bowls go from where we are now. However, the REAL future of hookah lies within this one amazing improvement: Bacon flavored shisha. That is all.
jan019
I am not saying i would like anything to be better. I love hookah and shisha how it is now and i would love it to stay this way! My point for this thread is that i am scared that they will start adding some shit into shisha so it get's very addictive and so people buy the tobacco more and more, like with cigarettes. Hopefully i am wrong.

ammoura1
Google has introduced a google Patent search. Just type 'hookah' or 'shisha'. You will surprised to see what gets patented (skull hookah is patented!) and find some ingenious new inventions that might hit the market in a couple of years. http://www.google.com/patents?tbs=bks%3A1&tbo=1&q=hookah&btnG=Search+Patents
