So i finally but an order in on hookah-shisha. some discount shisha, a couple discount bowls, grommets, nammor hose(very excited) and some random shisha i've been wanting to try. oh and my first batch of tangiers. I read some great reviews on marashcino cherry so i got that.

i always hear people talk about how amazing tang is and also that you need to know how to do it right and acclimate it(what?)

so now that i am about to have my tangiers cherry popped i was wondering what the advice is on tang.
acclimation, packing, not fucking it up, etc.

There are dozens of threads on acclimation and packing.

you're from Pittsburgh, so you pretty much don't need to acclimate lol...I rarely acclimate my tangiers and I'm in Indiana PA right now, but from the South Hills of Pittsburgh...

just spread it out on foil and leave it exposed for an hour or two, should be fine after that

leave it out in a container till it smells like cherries then u know its ready i think packing n mananging heat is really what makes tangies smoke well or not look up threads on packing there r a bunch

Also, low heat! I like to use Japanese coals like Fumari, Golden Canary or Easylites. If not, Exoticas are good too. Long wide shallow containers are the best to acclimate and store Tangiers in. Make sure they have a number 5 on them (polypropylene) so they dont absorb some of the plastic.

And... did you get LUCID Tang? or OG tang? ... if you got Lucid you don't need to acclimate. = )

ok...this concerns me...I buy the cheap Target 5 for $2.50 containers
too bad I threw the cardboard...hmm...if ur talking about just noir then Im fine

It should be on the plastic, and most of the ones I've found are. I remember Eric saying that the shisha can pick up a plastic like flavor in other numbered ones.

Damn I was getting worried, cuz I bought a KG of cocobrico's which burn pretty hot!

So with my lucid ones, all I do is pack my phunnel and smoke it?
