The Greek
So im getting tired of the shisha that i have so im going to make a new order. Im planning on getting the HJ Alien mini phunnel so i can get the best experience out of tangiers, which i am also ordering for the first time. Im definitely getting the Tangiers lucid Orange Soda, cause everyone raves about it. If there are any other must have tangiers flavor i would love to hear. Along with tangiers i wanted to get some Nak Double Apple. I have also tried Nak Strawberry and i really enjoyed it. Ive also never tried AF and i read that melon is pretty good so i was going to try that. Ive always used either 3kings or AF instant lite. Do you guys recommend the CH hookah instant lite coals more? Thanks again, i appreciate your help
71903DC5
Tang cocoa definately
jorlyfish
Kashmir Cherry. I haven't tried it in Lucid, but it's amazing. I don't know if they make Pineapple in Lucid, but that's another favorite of mine. ILTOBC might be something to consider as well... Another good AF flavor is Mint. Kind of nice for a lighter, more refreshing smoke. But that's just me
TheyCallMeDave
I'm a big fan of the OG flavors of tangiers, I just enjoy the intense buzz it gives, gives it it's on personality. Favorites are - orange soda, - peach iced tea, - pear, - static starlight. My favorite AF flavors are - mint, which has a very cooling sensation without the mint burn the nakhla has, - strawberry (regular or golden, both are delicious... regualr is like strawberry milk, golden is more like strawberry topping or preserves), - ORANGE (2nd best, comperable to tangiers orange soda, but honestly I would say they are about even, it just depends on which I want at the time) - and coconut (very sweet and subtle, but still with flavor unlike most brands)
Epoch
I would take CH instant lights over the other coals.

I found coconara NATURAL coals, and CH INSTANTLITE coals. these two brands of coals will change your smoking experience, and it'll be obvious in your first session with them. the quicklights by CH look like, are made like, and burn very similar to natural coals. However, they ARE quicklights. One con to them are though, it is difficult to light them with a lighter, I would invest in a small butane torch from home depot, walmart, lowe's, etc. They're anywhere from 7-15 bucks, and totally worth it. Coconaras are an AMAZING natural coal, vbut you definantly need at least a blow torch, but preferably a stove. I've even seen a video on coconaras website that shows how to start cocos with a microwave.

Chaz1337
If you want the most out of your Tangiers, get a bona fide Tangiers phunnel bowl not the Alien... Also get coconaras like Dave said. BEST coal on the market today.
Says something vague about it on the CocoNara website, but I also found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07WBuFHxMAo ... I think I'll stick to stove lighting, especially since I don't have a spare shard of brick around. I know it says you can use a microwavable plate, but someone said in the comments that his broke after lighting coals on it twice.
agunn1231
ok...so shisha recomendations I'd say Tang Cocoa Tang Maraschino Cherry Tang New Lemon LIme
The Greek
So the concincious is to get tangiers, im leaning towards tang orange soda, cocoa, and maraschino cherry. im still not really sure about whether i should get lucid or regular. Is the difference just the buzz? ive gotta get something thats a quicklight since i dont have access to a stove, I.E. we usually smoke in my friends car. but the CH QL's sound reasonable. Is the only difference between the HJ mini and the Tang small phunnels the size? being on a college student budget, i dont got a ton of cash to buy lots of shisha with, so i figured the mini will help conserve it. Chaz1337
Lucid for sure if you plan on smoking if different places. OG Tangiers requires acclimation to smoke properly and from my experience, even when I take my tangiers from my apartment to my friend's the tobacco wont smoke as well. Lucid doesn't offer a buzz either. Especially for a tangiers virgin I would suggest lucid form the first tiime and the OG line once you feel like you are ready to give acclimation and proper packing a try. Matto
CH quicklights are harder to light than 3k but better quality. Everyone's pretty much covered the tangiers stuff.. For AF I would check out watermelon, it's a great flavor.
I would buy two ludic flavors, and one OG flavor, for experience and variety. Gives you a wider pallate and knowledge. Don't even bother with F-line (caffinated tabacco will put you on your ass) right now. Lol. There is an obvious acclimation difference as said above, the buzz is a huge difference, and I find the the OG flavors have a more darker flavor than the lucid, maybe that's just a baised opinionated brain at work. The difference between the mini and the tangiers small is the size, yes, but more importantly the shallowness of the bowl. The mini has a shallow rim, reducing the amount of shisha used, and mainly cutting back on the session time. Tangiers bowls sessions can get lengthy if smoked right, so the mini was the redemy to that situation. CH quicklights are a good choice, but I still encourage you to purchase a small butane torch for them. They do quicklight, but the recent version of these coals have not been as selflighting as the used to be, where the coal would practically catch on fire (which I LOVED, which it would be that way again) now they tend to take a little more coaxing. However, it's still an AMAZING quicklight, smokes like a natural and gives great clouds, my personal choice.
