yashman19
Oo, sexy looking hookah. I like the thread title as well. Catchy Great base. What are the flames made with? They just look like something that can easily be chipped off if not handled gently enough. Regardless, the red and silver really flow well together. I'd personally get some bright red hoses if I could find some, along with a red ceramic bowl. I love accesorising my hookahs....I have two large gold colored hookahs. One with a blue base, blue hose and blue bowl, and another one identical to it except with a green base/hose/bowl. I can't help that my hookahs look fab
ghostofdavid
Very sharp looking. Despite all of your problems, you still got a very good deal because I am sure you were patient and didn't crap your pants like most people do when something goes wrong. Just remember, customer service is often relient on how much of a human being you treat the person on the phone. WOO!
The Dude Abides
Very cool looking stem. Though I'm not so fond of the vase.
JimmyD
Trust me that picture doesnt do the base justice. The flames are not nearly as jagged as they look in the pic. Also the flames are made by frosting the glass, I'm not sure exactly what with (it seems like anyother time you have frosted glass, like on furniture.) BTW, I did by a red ceramic bowl, that's the one that broke in shipping I picked the black because red and black are significant to my life in many different coincedental ways. The hoses are actually ornamented in silver, so it all flows nicely imho But yah, I'm in retail, so I realize how much of a hassle people can be. It wasn't their fault that any of that happened. You could only tell there were pinhole leaks if you smoked it, and I would rather they not smoke it. I think that selling hookahs leaves alot of room for customer service because there is such a high markup. I know that the more mark up there is, the easier it is to replace and discount things. BTW speariment was freaking awesome. I never thought breathing smoke could cool my lungs...
zombiedepot
Nice hookah. Thanks for making me turn my head to the side, my neck cracked.
Neijii
I also just received my hookah from hookahhookah and love it, but the stem was slightly worn, I emailed them about that.A problem I have is that the hoses don't fit very well and the hose feels somewhat cheap...the part of the hose that goes into the stem is wooden which I'm not too fond of. Scarecrow
I bought a 4 hose from these chaps some time ago as my first hookah. While it was a decent first, the hoses rotted at light speed and now I can't stand the draw. Mya's and even standard egyptian hookahs work so much better because no valve. mushrat
ok..this is said in a friendly manner..so I'm not trying to start a flame war..but I just have to point this out... so besides the hookah itself being faulty and the autoseal mechanism being too restrictive, being mis-informed by the CSR, the tobacco leaking, and it being poorly packed so one of the bowls broke, it was a great transaction?? glad they made it right and all...but dang... My 4 hose with autoseal has a "master" hose with no valve...its why i didnt realize how badly the others were restricted until i was passed the other hose at a smoke...then I understood peoples comments about it being a tough smoke. I drilled one of my valves out right after that.
JimmyD
Dude, I work in retail, I know how hard it is to deal with people. They couldn't tell that there were pinholes, because like I said, you couldn't see them 'til it was smoked. It was packed nicely (They could have secured the bowl better, but it was wrapped individually in foam. The tobacco leaking does suck, but it didnt really hurt anything. My point is that while I like free stuff (they could have offered some tobacco shots or something), I hate when people ask for breaks when nothing was really hurt or there was nothing I could do about it. Basically I'm getting enough parts free to build another hookah without them even asking to see the others...
mushrat
I understand, like I said, wasn't trying to start anything this time around, I just found it kinda funny.... And believe me...I know what its like working with people too...
