Charcoal Screen Or Foil?

Hello, I just bought a 20" [url="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120569824379&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT"]2-hose hookah[/url]. And I also bought one of those metal things called Charcoal Screen. It should save me a lot of hassle, but, do you recommend using charcoal screen or is foil just better? Because I want to get the best smoke and if the charcoal screen isn't good, cutting out pieces of foil isn't so bad after all. But heck, if I can get good smoke without the hassle of cutting and piercing foils, why not. But I am asking you, why don't more people use charcoal screens, why does almost everyone use foil when there's an easier alternative? Is that easier alternative Charcoal Screen thingy so bad or what?

i have used both, hardest part with a screen is it only fit some of my bowls, and the holes were too big.

Yeah, I didn't like how big the holes were and that it wouldn't be tight on the bowl like foil. The holes being so big allowed the shisha to burn much faster and become harsh. I've used it a couple times but nothing can be as clean or better for heat management than good ol' HD foil

i feel like the time i would spend just trying to get the screen to fit well on my bowl would be greater than ripping some tinfoil and poking holes in it. maybe that's just me

it is a poll, with almost everyone saying foil. i skimmed over this one, so i dont know for sure, but people probably explained why they like foil better, so check that out, it could be helpful
