Portability of a QT...

Recommended Posts

Hi all,I just recently took to reading your forum, and I can't say how much you guys have helped in answering questions I've had.At any rate, I know that I'll eventually be getting a Mya QT, but my question is, is it portable enough for me to carry in luggage back to school (I fly to Indiana from NYC), or should I just order it in time for it to arrive when I get there? Mind you, I'll have 2 gigantic duffel bags' worth of stuff, including a violin and "small bag," so that kind of leaves me in a slight bind with carrying stuff onboard(if you guys convince me that I should get it before I leave, I'll make room!)Has anyone ever had experience leaving one of their babies in luggage at the mercy of baggage handlers? Thanks in advance for the help :)

I'd just put in an order and have it shipped to your destination. I'm
sure you could time in properly so it arrives shortly after your
arrival day, but I don't think its worth stuffing in your luggage. Sure
its small, but I hear they weigh quite a bit, especially for such a
small hooka. The glass is thick, but still might crack if improperly
handled...

If you ordered it now, would you smoke it a whole bunch before your
flight? If not, it would be worthless to have it now. So as long as you
can wait until you fly home, do so. Thats just what I would do though

Eee my hookah itch needs a scratching - but I suppose ordering it in time for my arrival is probably the most practical/safest/wisest thing to do.P.S. That's the first time I've heard that oneP.P.S. Thanks for having me

I was going to one time but then I thought, who is gonna clean its diaper, feed it, and burp the baby?
but yeah that cage might help it but I would rather not risk it and just send it to your destination.
