Multi Hose And Some General Help

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I'm probably going to buy a multi hose hookah. Me and my friends are occasional smokers, everyone posses an own hookah and we smoke every two weeks (sometimes more often). Nevertheless we are eager smokers and hate to wait for our turn on the hose. A couple of thing's you should consider while answering:
1. I live in Croatia and almost no company delivers there.
2. Since hookahs are rather unknown here we have big taxes on importing one. A shisha box (50 g) is aproximately 10 $ here.(but we found cheaper and it is getting cheaper). So importing would be pretty complicated.
3.Please, don't try to sell me a Mya or any other brand since Aladin (later explained) is sadly the only one I can get my hands on right now +a cheap hookah that will have ANY quality is going to cost me at least 70$ here at least.
Here are a couple of questions since I am new to multihose hookahs and quality brand hookahs:
1.Until now I had a cheap pumpkin hookah of a shitty name. I wasn't in a situation to buy a better one. A new shop has opened here and I'm going to buy an Aladin (or Aladdin as I found somewhere) hookah almost for sure. Does anyone have any experience with this hookah brand?
2.One general question for multihose even if it sounds stupid...On a multihose, can more people draw at once, or do we still have to draw smoke one after another?
3. Which height do you prefer? I dont want a too tall one so transport could be easier...

I am sorry for my english but I thing I'm clear enough...
Thank you

Unfortunately, Mya is the best brand you can get for a multi-hoser. If Aladin is the only brand you can get, and you're not willing to buy one from online and import, then looks like you're stuck with the Aladin. I have no clue as to what kind of quality they are, but I have heard the name before. Maybe someone else on here knows. Try to go for the quality, though. Height doesn't really matter- it's quality that counts. A small 13" Mya QT can smoke just as good as a 32" Khalil Mamoon. If you are all trying to hit at once, you all aren't going to get as big of smoke as you would if you each took separate hits.

Sorry, I've never used one. It's got a name brand, and it's your only option. It doesn't sound like you have much of a choice. Check the reviews section of the board. It's really informative and probably has something on that particular brand there.

You draw one at a time, otherwise you're just dividing the amount of smoke in half and no one has a good experience. In most cases, you also have to cover the mouthtip hole while you're not smoking to complete the vacuum so others can get a good draw. MYA and some Syrian hookahs use a ball bearing system for their hose ports so you don't have to worry about doing that, but from what you're saying, it doesn't sound like that's a very reasonable option so keep in mind that you need to plug the hose for others.

I love tall hookahs. I love the elegance, the look, the draw of the smoke, and the fact that you have the option of making them really sleek or really ornate, since the stem is so much longer. I think the taller and more beautiful, the better. That being said, I've smoked out of plenty of Mya QT's and small hookahs like that and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't make a huge amount of difference. Small hookahs smoke just as well as big hookahs in a lot of cases, and their portability is exceptionally convenient.

In your situation, though, it might be tough to find something with the extra hoses and stuff that's still small. It sounds like your options are pretty limited. If you're worried about height, keep it under 30 inches or so (approximately 75cm) and you shouldn't have too much trouble moving it around. And you can always buy a case for it. My Mya came with a nice cardboard box and it's a 30" pipe and moving it is totally fine. I've even taken it on the Greyhound bus as a carry-on and had no problems.

Your English is really good. I had no trouble understanding you.

Ok, even though only two of you replied it was very useful
Ill probably buy a 1 hose and an adapter for a second hose (or a 2 hose at once, depends on the price)
too bad I was able to find only one review but at least it was very positive...
