Wet Paper Towel Grommet Wins Another Point In My Book...

Why?

I just realized today- the paper towel absorbs the juice that leaks down. I smoked AF Mint and used a wet paper towel strip instead of a regular grommet like I have been using. My vase's water didn't turn red. The paper towel strip, however, was completely red.

Something to consider for those of you who despise those juices running down the pipe.

i haven't had to use any paper-towel grommets on my km, but i used to do it all the time on my shitty no-name

I have also noticed that in the process of getting juices in the base the juices tend to get on the rubber grommet and if you have to take off the bowl for any reason the seal is not as tight as it once was, with a wet paper towel you don't have to worry about that anymore. I use wet paper towels because they provide a better seal IMO and they are way more versatile. I use them for my hose ports and bowls and sometimes between the stem and base, although I have to use duck tape or grommet first before putting on the wet paper towel.

I use the wet paper towel on the grommet like 90% of time.

ive bin useing my phunnel for everything latly but i used to do this . Keeps my km nice and clean

same. I find it seals better especially with new bowls that may not fit the grommets you have. Paper towel is my boy.

I usually use them for the bowl on my KM and for bowl and hose on my Nour, but thats cause the hoseport is tiny on my Nour.

i never use to use paper towels until few days ago after i lost my good grommet... now all my bowls fit the crappy one with no problem

I tried it once after I heard all the hype. Not worth the extra effort. Grommets work fine for me.

I am too lazy to do it. I know it works good but I have a ton of grommets that work well too.
