Dimeouflage
I recently purchased my first hookah though I have been smoking at a local shop for about a year now. Before I bought anything I read through alot of this forum and got alot of great tips on what to buy and what to stay away from so I wanted to say thanks to all the posters here for all the input. Now for my question. What coals will last longer Quick lights or naturals like Cocanaras? I almost always smoke by myself so there is not alot of drawing...slow and steady
jorlyfish
Naturals! They also ash a lot more cleanly.
agunn1231
natural coals...they smell better too....and if they are lasting too long, cut them in half.
Chaz1337
With Coconaras you will NEVER go wrong!
chris.mallia
IMO, the best coals out there are Hookah John's QLs. The best of both worlds really.... longevity, no taste or smell and quick lightning. Been using them since summer, was never disappointed. Just got 3 boxes in fact
Chreees
I prefer CCN over HJ QL or natural coals.

joytron
Yeah I can see what you mean, that is why whenever I take them off the burner I let them sit in the tray for a bit before I set them on the bowl. Let them start to go a little black on them bottom.
dizzbizz
Coconaras are great but I use AF Coconut coals.
Dimeouflage
Thanks everyone, I think I will try the Cocanaras and save the QL's for when I'm camping.
