My New Lebanese Argile!

Recommended Posts

Alright, so some of you know that I had purchased a new Leb argile a while ago (almost 2 weeks) from Canada (myhookah.ca/arguily.com). It's finally here!

I couldn't wait to break it in.

Some info:
32" without the head
VERY light stem - all hollow
super restrictive purge
even though the hose port is small, it can still hold a narb well.

needless to say, after all this time, i couldn't wait to break it in.

pics follow:
32" of leb goodness (that's an old head I got from john a while ago)

glass detail (it actually came with the green glass from the other picture but i think that one's hideous):

the breakdown (the hose above the beater is the one it came with - meh):

Hey Antouwan, can you measure how wide the hose port is at the widest point, so I can compare it to mine? Yours accepts the Narbish firmly, huh?

yeah, i'll post up some pics here and elsewhere with closeups on the ports (interior and exterior) with a ruler next to them.

and yeah, it holds it really well. no grommet needed. like it fits the narb down into the hose port and the end of the hose has some wiggle room towards where the hose port opens...if that makes sense. point is, i actually have to put in a tiny amount of paper towel for the thing to fit snug through and through. i was shocked.

Yes that makes total sense. It looks a lot like the hose ports on my two light Leb pipes (the other I have is more like an old style screw together Syrian, much heavier). So if the measurements are the same, SWEET, because I'd love to use a wide gauge hose with it.
