Acid is a cigar company that partnered up with starbuzz to make shisha. That is all I know.

Acid cigars making shisha, this could be very interesting

I think you mean starbuzz making shisha and using ACIDs name to draw up more business.

Drew Base is a legitimate Cigar Maker/Aficionado. I personally love his Acid line cigars for their complex blends and aromatics.

Ed Hardy on the other hand to my knowledge has NO knowledge on tobacco products of any sort...

I think that this may be more than a gimmick and am excited about getting my hands on some!

Seems to me its another Ed Hardy move. Bring in popular brand names to help push the same tired product.
As for The ACID cigar, No serious cigar smoker I've ever met will take a sweetened wrapper cigar seriously. I mean, thats like a fancy rum crook for crying out loud. You shouldn't have to soak your tobacco in sugar water to make it taste good. When i put a cigar in my mouth I want tobacco, not candy.

I'm willing to be, just as a theory moind you, that you could take sb, EH, and now ACID, shishas in bowls, set them up the same way, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's all in the Marketing. And the fact that your average consumer is a moron...present company excluded of course...mostly. :)

I no longer smoke cigars regularly but I remember when I first became aware of the Acid line. It was in the late 80's & early 90's when yuppie madness created a cigar boom. I never smoked an Acid cigar, as I am like you,Mush and took my tobacco straaight. However it seemed that the Acid people took things a little more seriously than say the folks who make swisher sweets, rum crooks and the like. Certainly they charged more than those machine made stoogies. I've never smoked Ed Hardy and unless I'm planning to have hearts and daggers tattooed on my butt, I doubt I ever will, but since both Ed Hardy and Christian Audiger seem to know nothing about tobacco whereas the Drew Estate makes couple of brands. Bottom line is one would hope Drew did more than sell their name like Hardy did and would have some input on quality. However, even with Shisha, I tend to stay away from the overly and fruity ones

I'd planned on writing a full review, but I'm busy at the moment so I'll make it quick. I tried SB Acid Gold and I was a bit leery about trying any new Starbuzz products after the Ed Hardy BS.

However, if I had to be completely honest, it was one of the better flavors I've smoked to date. Maybe I got lucky, but it ranked up there with two apples for me. There was some citrus and spice, but it reminded me a lot of orange Tootsie Pops, only less sweet. I'm going to try purple next. Very different animal than regular Starbuzz, or so it seemed. Honestly, it's worth a shot.

That how i feel just picked up a can of Acid Red and im still trying to figure the flavor out its like a sweet cinimon apple with some orange in it. I really want to try them all now. the shop i bougt mine had purple blue and gold. Definantly worth a smoke

So, do those of you who like the stuff also smoke sb? can you tell a difference?

Mustafa: Just because a company makes cigars doesn't mean they know anything about shisha, look at Jewel/Kamal. Big name cigar maker, tried to use Burly Tobacco. Nasty shit. Besides, i doubt Drew Estates actually his making the stuff, likely just lending a name to SB to make the shisha anyways. I mean, any of us with about $20,000 or so can have a shisha brand of our own just like SB.

I really don't mind acid Cigars I wouldn't rank it towards the top of the cigars I've smoked but they are above swisher sweets and blacks but no where near the same quality tobacco of man of war or 5 vegas imo. I wouldn't mind giving this shisha a try just to try it

I just picked up a tin of Acid Red last night. The red smells like cinnamon and cloves. I haven't smoked starbuzz in a while and I was pleasantly surprised by how long the flavor lasted on this one. The owner of the shop that I made the purchase from said that he likes it because it has a cigar-like taste. I couldn't find this cigar-like taste that he spoke of, but it was still good none the less.
