you'll be fine. i sometimes got headaches after smoking but that doesnt happen anymore to me. if it is your first time you probably smoked a little too much. the nicotine in the tobacco is probably the cause. just drink some water and you should be fine

it could also be that you smoked before your coals were fully lit (covered in ash)
it would mean you have a mild (but really really mild) monoxide poisoning
dont worry, I was stupid once and smoked at least 5 rounds and I'm still alive (yeah yeah that was stupid I know)
just check that you did everything right to avoid the headaches again :)

yeah, sounds like you smoked WAY too much for a first timer. i wish i had more experience with that, but i dont, so i dont know that there is anything to do other than sleep it off and drink some water. did you smoke in an open area or a closed room?

yeah, i'd just relax for a bit and lay off the smoking for a day or two to let your body go back to normal and just take it easy next time. hope this helps, man Edited by IainUM

Thanx man, it really does help. All my other friends act as if its no big deal, but this is my first run and things like the hear racing and the headaches puts me on edge.

part of it also might be coming from you basically coming down from the "nicotine buzz." you can get from the tobacco as a new smoker. as you smoke more you'll develop a tolerance to the nicotine and it'll have less of an effect on you. i used to get headaches (i called them hookah hangovers) after the buzz went away.

I doubt it could have been caused by smoking at all

I consider myself bad at packing a bowl and heat management and I would love if I could have a session with someone who knows he is good
I had terrible sessions like once when I ate too many peanuts and vomited during the night
but my first two sessions, two days in a row, lasted 4 hours + 6 hours (through the night on our trip to spain when I bought my first hookah) and I had no problems
later I had more long sessions even though I smoke occasionally (about three to four times a month)

there is no way even a messed up bowl and heat management could have caused such problems

That eases me. To be fair, I work on the computer all day and have bad pposture, so Im no stranger to back soreness etc. I guess with the anxiety I've focused more on everything after the session.

Go to the doctor! Seriously! They can prescribe medicine for the anxiety, be it short term (Ativan, Valium) or something long term in the way of antidepressants. You're asking a bunch of hookah geeks for medical advice. Your physician would be a much better resource.
