Which Hookah Should I Choose?

Recommended Posts

So this morning I found out I won the monthly giveaway for Hookah-Shisha, and I've decided to spend it on a new hookah. I currently have a MZ 3-hose hookah and I think it's great minus a few flaws. I was talking to one of the representatives through live chat and he was convincing me to get a Nammor hookah over the KM's, since Nammors tend to have a better overall quality (KM's tend to have a pocks on the shafts). Is this really true?

The ones I'm currently looking at are the Nammor Ramses III, Nammor Cleopatra, Nammor Oasis, KM Zoharia, KM and the KM Halzona. All of these can be found on Hookah-Shisha. I'm a bit iffy with the Halzona, since it has a copper stem, and it's still not really certain whether or not that is safe to smoke out of.

I noticed some of the hookah's description on the site say that they feature a wide-bore hose adapter, and I was wondering if only the ones described with them will have them, or do all KM's/Nammors that are single hose have this feature?

What are your opinions on which one to get? Please give reasons on why you think one is better than the others. Thanks

all i can say is that they will all smoke relatively the same. the biggest factor will be which one you think looks the best. they are all handmade i believe (though i could be wrong about nammors) so they might have some defects from being made, but nothing that will affect how they smoke. really any of those hookahs would be a good pick up. whichever one you think is the best looking is probably the one to buy

Those are all great hookahs. Get which one looks the best and smoke it! As far as copper stems go, smoking in general is bad for you, are you really worried about copper? I had a KM Pharonie for a long time and I didn't notice any side effects from the copper down stem.

Yeah, I figured that each one of them isn't really going to differ that much in smoking experience. It's just I have never tried out either company's hookahs before, so I have no way to make a solid judgment.

I am a bit worried about the dangers of using copper. I know that smoking is dangerous, but the thing is, does smoking out of a copper stem really make the smoking experience that much better to the point where I'll take that extra risk? Much like how I would smoke a regular cigarette, but I would avoid smoking a bootleg Chinese one that is filled with cardboard and other stuff in it.

I understand. Check this thread out and see what you decide. http://www.hookahforum.com/topic/14563-diy-metal-safety/
To answer your question "does smoking out of a copper stem really make the smoking experience that much better to the point where I'll take that extra risk?" The simple answer is no, not really. A copper stem will smoke just as good as a stainless steel one, given they have the same dimensions.

I'd get the Mya Obelisk heh. I've always loved that hookah and its too expensive for me to buy personally.

But out of the ones you listed, I'm sure they all smoke about the same. Pick whichever one appeals the most to you

KM and Nammor are almost identical in my experience. Nammors are nice because they come with a washable hose standard.

Other than that, both have a very open and easy draw. Like breathing.

I would suggest reading some of the reviews and either wait until Stuie chimes in or maybe even PM him. He has quite a few of the nammor hookahs, and a lot of KMs as well so he can really give you a rundown on the differences.
